Dix-neuf nouveaux défauts de sécurité ont été
identifiés dans le système Windows et ses composants
(OpenType Font [OTF] Driver, Task Scheduler, Windows Movie Maker,
Windows Media Encoder, Windows Address Book, Internet Connection
Signup Wizard, Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers, Routing and Remote Access,
Consent User Interface, Windows Netlogon Service, Hyper-V). L'exploitation
des failles les plus sévères peut permettre à
un individu malveillant ou à un virus d'exécuter du code
malicieux sur l'ordinateur de sa victime.
